Overview
Zest sends emails to gift buyers and recipients when gifts are paid for, sent, shipped, and more. We also occasionally send text messages to gift recipients when requested by the buyer. These emails include your brand’s logo and can be sent from your brand’s email address (e.g. [email protected]).
Below is an example of the email content.
Order confirmation emails to recipients
Standard order confirmation emails should never go to Zest customers. These emails contain product prices, and we do not want them to be sent to gift recipients.

We send this email to the customer when a gift order is placed.

Customer 1 Day E-Gift Summary
We send a summary to the customer after 1 day to update them on their e-gift acceptance progress. If there are still unaccepted gifts, we suggest steps to customer to nudge the recipient to accept the gift.

We send a summary to the customer after 7 days to update them on their e-gift acceptance progress. If there are still unaccepted gifts, we suggest steps to customer to nudge the recipient to accept the gift.

Customer Gifts Shipped
We send this email to buyers when their gift has started to ship.
Subject: Your gift has started shipping!
Customer Gifts Delivered
We send this email to buyers when their gift has started to be delivered.

Customer Order Rescheduled
We send this email when the brand reschedules a gift.

Recipient Gift Nudged [Email & SMS]
Same as above, with [Reminder] in the subject. This is sent 1 day after the original Recipient Gift Sent message.
SMS Text message: Reminder: ${Buyer Name} sent you a gift from {Seller Name}. Unwrap your big surprise right here: ${Gift Url}
Recipient Gift Final Nudged [Email & SMS]
Same as above, with [Final Reminder] in the subject. This is sent 7 days after the original Recipient Gift Sent message.
SMS Text message: Hello! This is your last call to unwrap your gift from ${Buyer Nme}. Open your gift and enter your shipping details here: ${Gift URL}
Recipient Gift Shipped (E-Gift only)
Sent when a gift has shipped.

Sent when a gift has been delivered.
