How Do I Use the Marketing Report for Concierge?

Updated yesterday

The Marketing report is a unified contact list that combines customers and e-gift recipients into one row per unique email address. It is available as a data source under Reports > New exploration > Marketing.

When to Use This Report

The Marketing report is the recommended report for:

  • Building marketing lists and audience segments

  • Identifying contacts who have opted into marketing

  • Tracking abandoned carts and re-engagement opportunities

  • Analyzing customer lifecycle (first order, last order, last e-gift accepted)

Key Things to Know

  • A single contact may appear as both a customer (they placed an order) and an e-gift recipient (they accepted a gift). These are merged into one row by email address.

  • The Opted into Marketing column reflects whether the contact's most recent activity included a marketing opt-in. It is based on the latest opt-in event across both orders and e-gift acceptances.

  • The Last Abandoned Cart At column is only populated for customers whose most recent self-service storefront activity was an incomplete order. If their most recent activity was a submitted order, this column is blank.
