Inform customers about gifting options

With the Zest Gift Notes app, you can create a seamless experience for your customers to gift. You can enhance this experience by creating upstream communications and thoughtfully curating your checkout, thank you, and order status page to inform them about their gifting options and selection. In this guide, we will review how to set up your app blocks, recommended placement, and PDP placements.

Install app blocks

Add the app block to the checkout, thank you and order status page. You can see a video tutorial on how to configure your app blocks here.

Add Gift Notes app block to Orders page

  • Edit Checkout page

  • Click add app block

  • Select Zest Gift Notes

  • Place app block directly underneath the email address field

  • If you have Shop Pay set up for your Shopify store, toggle Include app block in Shop Pay on

  • Edit the Gift note checkbox label

  • Configure any character max settings

  • Click Save

Add Gift Notes app block to Thank you page

  • Add the Zest Gift Note app block to the Order details section

  • Click Save

Add Gift Notes app block to Order status page

  • Add the Zest Gift Note app block to the Order details section

  • Click Save

Create PDP, product description page, upstream customer communication

Create cart placement upstream customer communication
